Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Splunk Developer with 12+ years of IT experience to design, build, and maintain enterprise-level Splunk solutions. The role focuses on creating high-performance dashboards, onboarding diverse data sources, and delivering meaningful insights to business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain Splunk dashboards, reports, alerts, and visualizations
- Onboard and normalize data sources aligned with Splunk CIM standards
- Develop and optimize complex SPL queries for performance and accuracy
- Integrate data using Splunk DB Connect, SQL queries, and REST APIs
- Build custom Splunk apps and add-ons
- Automate tasks using Python or shell scripting
- Maintain clear technical documentation
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- 12+ years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on Splunk development
- Advanced knowledge of Splunk Enterprise and SPL
- Experience with CIM, DB Connect, APIs, and scripting (Python/Shell)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Splunk certifications (Admin, Developer, Architect)
- Experience with Splunk ES, ITSI, or Observability
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
