Job Title: Solutions Architect – Data Systems & Integration
Location: Washington, DC (Must be local to the DC metro area)

Job Description:
Randstad is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect – Data Systems & Integration to join our client’s team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and hands-on experience in backend systems, data integration, and process documentation. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust data systems, ensuring seamless integration across platforms and driving project success in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment. A solid background in Agile methodologies, business process mapping, and requirements management is essential to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and document business processes, business/functional requirements, use cases, and technical specifications.
  • Create and maintain Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) artifacts, including key process steps.
  • Design, troubleshoot, and support backend systems, including OS, applications, databases, and networks.
  • Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to implement and deploy effective solutions, challenging and supporting vendors as needed.
  • Analyze and resolve software and hardware issues related to the OnBoard Information System.
  • Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts, and document test results.
  • Lead the adoption of Agile methodologies (SCRUM/SAFe) across teams.
  • Utilize collaboration and productivity tools, including Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project, Visio).
  • Present findings and solutions confidently to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and support in documenting and improving processes in a high-visibility environment.

This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience (4+ years). Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills, combined with a proactive and self-motivated approach, are key to succeeding in this position.
