Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with 8+ years of systems and software design experience to lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing digital solutions. This role serves as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and development teams, translating high-level requirements into detailed technical designs aligned with enterprise standards and long-term strategy.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Digital Product Managers, Enterprise Architects, and global teams to ensure consistent architecture practices, secure AWS environments, and successful Agile/DevOps adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership to recommend solutions based on best practices, performance, security, and cost optimization.
  • Translate customer requirements and high-level architecture into detailed technical designs.
  • Establish and enforce development standards, design models, and code reuse strategies.
  • Partner with Product Owners and Enterprise Architects to define program specifications and provide development estimates.
  • Ensure application runtime environments remain current and develop mitigation strategies for system stability.
  • Design secure AWS environments and promote Agile and DevOps practices.
  • Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Support long-term strategic development planning and digital product innovation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8+ years of systems/software design experience.
  • 5+ years of programming experience with C#, .NET, .NET Core, and Python.
  • 3+ years of SQL programming experience.
  • 3+ years of experience delivering solutions within Agile teams.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS, DevOps, and Serverless technologies (Docker, Kinesis, Lambda, EventBridge).
  • Experience with XML, JSON, Windows Services, IIS, Oracle, Linux, Postgres, DynamoDB.
  • Knowledge of TypeScript, CloudFormation templates, AWS CDK.
  • Strong understanding of networking, AWS infrastructure, and performance optimization.
  • Excellent communication, consultative, and time management skills.
  • Experience working in highly matrixed environments.
  • Telematics experience is a plus.
