Job Description: 

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with 8+ years of experience in backend development and reliability engineering. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance while leading infrastructure modernization initiatives, including migration from on-premises environments to AWS cloud.

This role requires strong expertise in proactive risk management, cloud architecture, observability, and backend optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain highly reliable and scalable backend services.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and implement preventive measures to avoid system outages.
  • Optimize application code and infrastructure to improve efficiency and reduce server space usage.
  • Lead and support migration of infrastructure from on-prem environments to AWS.
  • Implement and manage system observability and monitoring using AppDynamics.
  • Ensure high availability, performance tuning, and incident response readiness.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams including development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in backend development and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud migration strategies.
  • Proven expertise in observability and monitoring tools, especially AppDynamics.
  • Strong understanding of system performance tuning, scalability, and reliability engineering principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive risk management mindset.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
