Our Randstad client in Washington, DC is seeking a Senior Network Solution Architect to provide strategic and tactical architectural leadership across multiple IT initiatives. This senior-level role is responsible for developing and presenting enterprise-grade network and solution architectures that align with business goals and enterprise standards. The ideal candidate will serve as a visionary, guiding the direction of future-state architectures while ensuring projects are built with best practices, reusability, and technical excellence. This position interfaces with stakeholders across the organization and contributes throughout the full project lifecycle—from concept through implementation. Candidates should bring deep expertise in data center and enterprise routing/switching architecture, hands-on experience in complex IT environments, and the ability to drive change and innovation in alignment with enterprise goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and document conceptual and solution-level network architectures that align with business strategies and enterprise standards.
  • Lead architectural planning efforts across multiple concurrent IT projects.
  • Present solutions to senior leadership and the Enterprise Architecture Review Council for approval and feedback.
  • Ensure adherence to architectural governance and best practices for reusability, scalability, and sustainability.
  • Serve as a change agent, identifying and introducing improved methods and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate across IT and business units to guide solution development from ideation to implementation.
  • Support enterprise architecture programs and help evolve future-state technology blueprints.
  • Provide expert-level routing and switching architecture support for data center and enterprise network environments.
  • Contribute to service-oriented architecture (SOA) and enterprise information strategies.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and apply relevant innovations to architecture strategies.
