We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mobile Developer with strong expertise in native mobile application development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building, enhancing, and maintaining high-quality iOS and/or Android applications, with hands-on proficiency in Kotlin and/or Swift.
Candidates must have prior experience working with automotive clients and a strong background in software development, mobile architecture, and modern development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality native mobile applications for iOS and/or Android platforms.
- Develop scalable and reliable mobile solutions using Kotlin and/or Swift.
- Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, designers, and engineering teams to deliver mobile applications aligned with business requirements.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Follow mobile development best practices, coding standards, and secure development principles.
- Contribute to technical design, code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Integrate mobile applications with backend services, APIs, and enterprise systems.
- Ensure applications provide a seamless, reliable, and high-quality user experience.
- Support development initiatives and technology solutions within the automotive industry.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of overall IT experience.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Mandatory: Prior experience working with automotive clients.
- 6+ years of hands-on native iOS or Android application development experience.
- Strong experience with Kotlin and/or Swift.
- Practical experience working with at least two programming languages, or advanced expertise in one programming language.
- Strong understanding of mobile application development principles, architecture, APIs, testing, and deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience developing enterprise-grade mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of native Android and/or iOS frameworks.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and backend integrations.
- Familiarity with mobile application testing, CI/CD, and version control practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Strong understanding of mobile security, performance optimization, and application lifecycle management.
