Job Description: 

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support and enhance enterprise-scale software delivery pipelines in a financial services environment. This role focuses on CI/CD oversight, automation, release management, cloud infrastructure, and security integration across multiple development teams.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and collaborative, with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while driving DevOps best practices across the organization. You will play a key role in improving deployment reliability, security posture, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for application delivery using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI
  • Provide CI/CD governance and oversight, ensuring consistent, secure, and reliable deployment processes
  • Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible
  • Manage, optimize, and secure cloud environments (primarily AWS)
  • Support containerized and orchestrated platforms using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Monitor system health, performance, and availability; troubleshoot and resolve issues proactively
  • Build and integrate security telemetry, monitoring, and alerting using SIEM/SOAR tools
  • Implement DevSecOps best practices, including secure pipelines, secrets management, and access controls
  • Collaborate closely with application, security, and platform teams to ensure smooth software integration and release
  • Automate repetitive operational tasks to improve efficiency, consistency, and reliability
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for pipelines, configurations, standards, and operational procedures
  • Participate in release coordination and cross-team deployment planning

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE
  • Strong experience supporting enterprise CI/CD pipelines in regulated or financial environments
  • Hands-on expertise with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Artifactory
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar
  • Extensive experience with AWS cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible
  • Experience with serverless and AWS native services
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring & observability tools (Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK)
  • Strong understanding of security, networking, and DevSecOps best practices
  • Exposure to SIEM/SOAR platforms
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working across multiple teams
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; AWS / Kubernetes / Security certifications preferred
