Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Architect to lead enterprise-wide data strategy, architecture, and governance. This role is responsible for designing scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms across cloud and on-prem environments, enabling analytics, reporting, and AI-driven initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive enterprise data architecture, standards, and long-term roadmap
- Design and implement data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time data pipelines
- Architect and optimize cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Lead data modeling efforts (conceptual, logical, and physical models)
- Ensure performance tuning, scalability, and reliability of data systems
- Establish data governance, security, MDM, and data quality frameworks
- Drive ETL/ELT design, integration, and large-scale data migration strategies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align data solutions with business goals
Required Skills & Experience:
- 12+ years of experience in data architecture and enterprise data solutions
- Strong hands-on experience with platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse, or BigQuery
- Deep expertise in SQL, data modeling, and distributed data systems
- Experience with ETL/ELT and big data tools (Spark, dbt, Informatica, or similar)
- Proven background in enterprise-scale data transformation programs
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
