Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Project Manager to lead the successful migration and implementation of an HRIS platform, with a focus on UKG. This role will be responsible for end-to-end project planning, stakeholder management, and execution of the system migration, ensuring minimal disruption to HR operations and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of the HRIS migration project from legacy systems to UKG, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and vendor teams to gather requirements and ensure successful configuration and deployment of the system.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations, ensuring milestones are met on schedule and within budget.
- Coordinate data migration activities, including data mapping, cleansing, testing, and validation.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), training sessions, and go-live support.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and changes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders, escalating challenges as needed.
- Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and internal audit requirements throughout the implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of project management experience, ideally with large-scale HRIS implementation or migration projects.
- Hands-on experience with UKG (UltiPro) or similar platforms (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Ceridian Dayforce).
- Strong understanding of HR business processes: Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance, and Talent modules.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and vendor relationships.
- PMP or Agile certification is a plus.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
