Job Description: 

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mainframe Developer with 12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise application development and financial systems. The ideal candidate will serve as a lead developer and subject matter expert, supporting complex financial business processes across large cross-functional projects.

This role involves documenting critical business processes, analyzing system effectiveness, assisting in process redesign, and ensuring robust, scalable solutions are implemented during ongoing business transformation initiatives.

Experience & Technical Qualifications: 

  • 12+ years of overall IT experience, including 7+ years in a Lead Developer/Development Manager role.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with CA Gen, Classic ASP (VBScript/JScript), and DB2 for z/OS or Oracle databases.
  • Strong SQL proficiency and expertise in CA Gen workstation toolset and Com Proxy service.
  • Solid knowledge of IBM Z-Server, CICS, JCL, and COBOL.
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio/.NET (preferred).
  • Proven experience supporting complex financial business applications.

  • Drive continuous improvement in design standards and development practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery and stay aligned with industry best practices.
