Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Information Architect to join a dynamic team supporting a high-profile client in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will excel in developing and optimizing information flow and data models for mission-critical systems, identifying and closing gaps, and implementing sustainable solutions for improved information quality. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders, technology teams, and business partners to ensure seamless alignment of data architecture with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews with stakeholders to capture current information flow and define business and data domains.
- Develop comprehensive information models (Level 0, 1, 2, 3, etc.) from a data-driven flow perspective for mission-critical systems.
- Identify and resolve information flow gaps across systems by collaborating with service and application owners.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance information quality across all major systems.
- Partner with technology teams, architects, and other stakeholders to deliver resilient metadata solutions and operational excellence.
- Gather requirements and insights from data stewards, business process owners, and technical experts to define the target-state data architecture and tools.
- Review strategic initiatives to ensure consistent and aligned information flow across downstream systems.
- Establish infrastructure, processes, and best practices for Power BI.
