Guidewire QA Engineer

Job Description:

  • 13+ years of overall IT experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
  • 8+ years of hands-on testing experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
  • Strong functional and testing expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter (v10 or later).
  • Extensive experience in Manual, Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and UAT testing within Guidewire InsuranceSuite.
  • Strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain and Policy Administration processes.
  • Experience validating Guidewire integrations with BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, and third-party systems.
  • Proficiency in test planning, test case design, defect management, and test execution using tools such as Jira and ALM.
  • Experience with API testing (REST/SOAP) and SQL for backend data validation.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Java, or similar) is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Guidewire Certification in any Guidewire InsuranceSuite application is mandatory (PolicyCenter Certification preferred).
