The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional communication and leadership abilities, and a proven track record of driving Agile practices within large-scale, enterprise-level digital transformation efforts—especially platform modernization. This role is critical in guiding Agile teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, facilitating all standard Scrum ceremonies and ensuring Agile principles are followed.
  • Partner with Product Owners, Architects, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment and delivery of technology modernization goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement in team processes, performance, and Agile maturity.
  • Identify and resolve impediments that hinder team progress, and escalate when appropriate.
  • Coach teams and stakeholders in Agile best practices to foster a high-performing Agile culture.
  • Support enterprise-level Agile transformation efforts and help scale Agile frameworks where necessary.
  • Provide transparency into project status, team health, and delivery metrics using tools like Jira, Confluence, and others.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand and discuss architecture, APIs, CI/CD, cloud platforms, and related technical topics.
  • Proven success managing Agile teams in large-scale, enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.
  • Expertise in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple domains.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Recent experience in the financial services industry.
  • Previous experience working at Fidelity Investments (FMR) with positive references.
  • Familiarity with the BFSI sector, including companies like Charles Schwab, Capital One, Vanguard, or Morgan Stanley.
  • Experience with major platform modernization projects or legacy-to-cloud transitions.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent Agile certifications.
