Dynatrace Platform Architect

Our client in Washington, DC is seeking a highly experienced Dynatrace Platform Architect to lead enterprise-wide observability initiatives using the Dynatrace platform. This role requires deep expertise in Dynatrace implementation, performance monitoring, and automation, along with hands-on experience in scripting, DevSecOps practices, and CI/CD pipeline design. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of ITIL and Agile frameworks, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to translate complex observability needs into scalable, efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement enterprise-scale observability solutions using the Dynatrace platform
• Define architecture design patterns, principles, and best practices for observability and performance monitoring
• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives to evaluate emerging tools and technologies
• Build and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, and AWS CloudFormation
• Develop scripts and automation in languages such as Python and YAML
• Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and application teams to integrate observability across environments
• Ensure alignment with ITIL processes, including Change Management, Incident Management, and compliance with regulatory standards
• Document architecture, design, and operational procedures and share knowledge across teams
• Participate in after-hours work as required for incident support or scheduled maintenance
