Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in Supply Chain and Commercial Analytics within the Orthopedics / Medical Devices / Life Sciences domain.

The ideal candidate will serve as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, driving requirements discovery, process improvement, analytics initiatives, and data-driven decision-making across supply chain and commercial functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Supply Chain, Commercial, Sales, Marketing, Demand Planning, Inventory, and Operations teams to understand business objectives, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements-gathering sessions.
  • Analyze, document, validate, and prioritize business and functional requirements.
  • Translate complex business processes into detailed requirements for data engineering, reporting, analytics, and AI/ML teams.
  • Create and maintain BRDs, FRDs, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Process Maps, Data Requirement Documents, and Data Mapping Documents.
  • Analyze supply chain processes including:
    • Demand Planning
    • Inventory Management
    • Procurement
    • Order Fulfillment
    • Logistics
    • Distribution
  • Support commercial analytics initiatives related to:
    • Sales Performance
    • Market Share
    • Product Adoption
    • Pricing
    • Customer Segmentation
    • Sales & Demand Forecasting
  • Facilitate communication between business users, product owners, architects, developers, data engineers, and analytics teams.
  • Define business KPIs, metrics, dashboards, reports, and analytical requirements.
  • Support UAT planning, test execution, defect management, and business sign-off.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and improved data-driven decision-making.
  • Support change management, solution rollout, and user adoption activities.
  • Work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments and participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and related ceremonies.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Business Analysis experience.
  • Strong domain expertise in Life Sciences, Medical Devices, Orthopedics, or a closely related industry.
  • Deep understanding of Supply Chain Analytics and Commercial Analytics.
  • Proven experience working directly with senior business stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Strong requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Hands-on experience developing:
    • Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
    • Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs)
    • User Stories & Acceptance Criteria
    • Process Flows / Process Maps
    • Data Mapping & Data Requirement Documents
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical requirements and explain technical solutions to business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Commercial Analytics and Supply Chain reporting platforms.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar BI/reporting tools.
  • Understanding of Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and modern analytics platforms.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and data analysis concepts.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Exposure to AI/ML-enabled analytics solutions is a plus.
