We are seeking an experienced Application Developer with 10+ years of experience developing and supporting complex enterprise applications using Natural/Adabas and SQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, testing, implementing, and maintaining mission-critical applications while collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with Natural/Adabas application development.
- Strong experience with SQL development and query writing.
- Experience working with SCL in Linux environments.
- Expertise in designing, developing, and enhancing large-scale enterprise applications using Natural.
- Strong experience gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience defining technical solutions, troubleshooting complex issues, and improving development processes.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including system analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call support rotation.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Familiarity with SCL scripting.
- Experience working in Agile environments such as SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, or XP.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
