Job Description: 

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation QA Tester with 10+ years of experience in software testing and automation. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on expertise in OpenText ALM, UFT, and other automation tools, along with strong knowledge of test planning, execution, defect management, and automation framework development. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of ensuring high-quality software delivery across system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases.
  • Perform software testing using OpenText ALM and UFT.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using VB Scripting.
  • Execute system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Design comprehensive Test Plans, test scenarios, and testing documentation.
  • Manage defect lifecycle including reporting, tracking, and resolution.
  • Review requirements and design documentation to ensure proper test coverage.
  • Identify and resolve automation issues and technical challenges.
  • Prepare detailed testing reports and communicate results to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project teams to ensure quality standards are met.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of overall experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with:
  1. OpenText ALM and UFT
  2. Test case execution and scripting
  3. Defect management and reporting
  4. Designing test plans and test documentation
  5. VB Scripting for automation
  6. Automation tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Cypress, Selenium, and Jira
  • Strong understanding of system integration, regression, and UAT testing methodologies.
  • Experience troubleshooting automation framework issues.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related Information Technology field.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
