We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Azure Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions in a cloud-based environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building modern data pipelines on Microsoft Azure and a solid understanding of cloud-native architecture and infrastructure automation.
This role will focus on delivering reliable, high-performance data integration solutions that support enterprise analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Azure Cloud.
- Build and orchestrate workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform for Azure deployments.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data.
- Integrate data from various sources including APIs, databases, and cloud storage.
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver robust data solutions.
- Ensure data quality, governance, security, and performance best practices.
- Troubleshoot and optimize data workflows and cloud infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Strong background in designing and developing data pipelines on Azure Cloud (ADF with Terraform) or other major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
- Hands-on experience with Azure services such as Data Factory, Data Lake, Azure SQL, and related components.
- Proficiency in SQL and data transformation techniques.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices in cloud environments.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Snowflake (strong plus).
- Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages.
- Experience with data warehousing and dimensional modeling concepts.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
