The ServiceNow Architect leads the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, CSDM, and custom applications. This role provides strategic vision, technical leadership, and architecture governance, ensuring scalable, high-performing, and integrated ServiceNow environments that align with business objectives. The architect collaborates with stakeholders, mentors technical teams, and drives platform adoption and continuous improvement across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end ServiceNow architecture for ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, CSDM, and custom modules.
- Oversee customization, configuration, and hands-on development including workflows, App Engine, ITIL processes, and scripting.
- Architect and manage integrations with LDAP, AD, SAP, APIs, and enterprise monitoring systems.
- Ensure platform governance, security, compliance, and system optimization, including upgrades and enhancements.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder advisory, delivering high-quality solutions and documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and custom applications.
- Deep knowledge of CMDB design, ServiceNow CMDB model, and CSDM framework.
- Hands-on experience in integrations, scripting (JavaScript, PowerShell, Perl, Python, SNMP, WMI, SSH, XPath), App Engine, workflows, reporting, and UI configurations.
- Proven experience leading enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations, upgrades, and optimizations.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL processes, ServiceNow best practices, and advanced features.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence executive stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring and guiding development teams on architecture, coding standards, and governance.
