Job Description: 

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with 8+ years of overall professional experience, including strong expertise in eCommerce platforms and Agile delivery environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating business objectives into actionable requirements, managing product backlogs, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver high-value solutions in iterative cycles.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Backlog Management

  • Define product scope, high-level business requirements, and detailed user stories for Development and QA teams.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog to ensure sprint readiness and continuous value delivery.
  • Create detailed, testable, and well-defined acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure alignment between business needs and technical implementation.
  • Maintain requirement traceability throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Agile Facilitation & Collaboration

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including:
  1. Inception sessions
  2. Sprint planning / iteration kickoff
  3. Story refinement sessions
  4. Estimation meetings
  • Collaborate closely with UX teams to ensure prototypes align with business requirements and story intent.
  • Partner with Development and QA teams to clarify scope, define story boundaries, and assess technical feasibility.
  • Support iterative delivery and incremental product enhancements.

Strategic Analysis & Communication

  • Analyze business and user data to align features with product goals and maximize ROI.
  • Contribute to product strategy and scope definition by understanding stakeholder objectives and organizational priorities.
  • Prepare and deliver regular updates, presentations, and reports to leadership and key partners.
  • Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to enhance product functionality, delivery processes, and team efficiency.
  • Drive best practices in documentation, backlog grooming, and requirement clarity.
  • Promote continuous improvement in Agile workflows and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 8+ years of overall Business Analysis experience.
  • 3–4 years of hands-on experience in eCommerce platforms (B2C or B2B preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Proven experience managing complex backlogs and cross-functional collaboration.
