Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior SAP MDG Techno-Functional Consultant with 8+ years of experience to design, develop, and deliver end-to-end SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions. The role requires strong expertise in ABAP on HANA along with deep functional knowledge of MDG processes, enabling effective governance of master data across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
ABAP on HANA Development
- Design and develop optimized ABAP solutions using HANA pushdown techniques (AMDP, CDS Views).
- Build and expose OData services and support complex integration scenarios.
- Perform performance tuning, ATC checks, and code optimization for HANA-based applications.
- Develop enhancements, interfaces, reports, and custom objects aligned with best practices.
MDG Techno-Functional Leadership
- Configure and customize SAP MDG modules including Customer, Vendor, Material, and Finance.
- Perform data modeling, UI modeling, workflow configuration, and BRF+ rule implementation.
- Implement validations, derivations, change request processes, and replication frameworks.
- Support CVI (Customer-Vendor Integration), hierarchy management, and data quality initiatives.
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable MDG solutions.
Functional & Delivery Activities
- Lead requirement gathering workshops and solution design discussions.
- Prepare and review functional and technical specifications ensuring design alignment.
- Support unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and production deployments.
- Provide ongoing production support and continuous improvement recommendations.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 and SAP BTP.
- Experience with SAP MDG migrations, upgrades, or S/4HANA transformation projects.
