Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, secure, and support enterprise network infrastructure across a multi-site manufacturing organization. This role plays a critical part in ensuring network reliability, performance, and security while supporting both operational technology and corporate IT systems.

The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on networking experience, a security-first mindset, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in production environments. This position works closely with infrastructure, systems, and security teams and contributes to long-term architecture and improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, and wireless environments
Manage Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and network security controls
Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of network infrastructure
Monitor network health and respond to performance or security incidents
Troubleshoot advanced routing, switching, firewall, and connectivity issues
Serve as an escalation point for complex network and security problems
Implement segmentation, least-privilege access, and security best practices
Support PCI and other applicable compliance requirements
Collaborate with IT leadership on network architecture, standards, and roadmap planning
Identify risks, technical debt, and infrastructure improvement opportunities
Create and maintain accurate network documentation and diagrams
Partner with cross-functional teams on enterprise IT initiatives

Required Qualifications:
7+ years of experience supporting enterprise networking environments
Strong hands-on experience with routing and switching technologies
Experience managing firewalls as security appliances
Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues in live production environments
Calm, methodical approach during outages or high-pressure situations
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have:
Experience in manufacturing or multi-site environments
Exposure to compliance-driven or regulated IT environments
Familiarity with network monitoring and security tools
