Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mainframe Developer with strong technical expertise in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and experience in coding Python components. The candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and implementing software changes, as well as participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle. This role requires collaboration with global teams, including members in New York and India, and active participation in technical, architectural, and design discussions.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, code, test, and implement changes for mainframe applications.
Participate in software development lifecycle activities including analysis, design, and deployment.
Develop Python components to support mainframe applications.
Engage in technical and architectural discussions with cross-functional teams.
Collaborate effectively with global virtual teams across multiple time zones.
Maintain high standards of code quality, performance, and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as needed.

Required Qualifications:
12+ years of experience in Mainframe development.
Strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
Experience coding Python components is a plus.
Familiarity with System Z and enterprise-level mainframe environments.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a global virtual team.
Flexible, adaptable, and a strong team player.

Exposure to large-scale enterprise applications and modern development practices.
Understanding of mainframe modernization strategies.
