Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Production Planning (PP) Business Analyst with 10+ years of experience to support business process design, solution confirmation, configuration, functional designs, testing, and defect resolution within SAP PP. This role requires expertise in Manufacturing Operations and SAP PP – Production Planning & Control Discrete Industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and design organizational processes and systems within SAP PP.
  • Work with stakeholders to assess current business models and define future state solutions.
  • Configure SAP PP solutions, build and execute test scripts, manage cutover activities, and handle defect resolution.
  • Develop strategies to optimize manufacturing operations and implement process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and operational excellence.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Engage with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, and provide solutions applicable across teams.
  • Act as an SAP PP SME, guiding and managing teams in decision-making and process optimization.

Must-Have Skills

  1. SAP Production Planning (PP) Expertise – Strong hands-on experience in SAP PP Configuration and Functional Design.
  2. Manufacturing Operations Knowledge – Advanced understanding of discrete manufacturing processes.
  3. Problem-Solving & Decision-Making – Ability to provide strategic solutions across multiple teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  1. Experience with Building Interfaces – Functional-level experience in designing and integrating SAP interfaces.
  2. Process Improvement Expertise – Ability to drive Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma improvements.
  3. Strong Stakeholder Communication – Ability to engage effectively with business and technical teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (4-year post-secondary education).
  • Industry Experience: Open to any industry, but manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Years of Experience: 10+ years working with SAP PP in a business analyst or functional consultant role.
