Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Design, development, customization, and testing of components of the AML Transaction Monitoring Application including supporting migrations and maintenance

Design, build and maintain APIs, User experiences, services and systems

Design and develop data integration workflow that provides for the extracting, loading and transforming of data

Working on technical specifications and documentation which may include data modelling, dataflow diagramming, screen design, workflow analysis, etc

Resolution of issues reported in test and on production systems

Integration of the systems developed in-house with vendor solutions

Involvement in creating the scripts for deployment and checkout of the solution

Design and develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) to validate suitability and viability of new technologies and solutions from both functional and technical perspectives.

Working with project managers, developers, testers and other specialists across multiple teams and locations to make sure that projects meet business needs

 

Qualifications:

Strong technical design and development skills

5 plus years of relevant working experience in the Financial Compliance space preferably in AML

Strong Experience in programming Languages Java and Python, functional and object-oriented design, J2EE technologies, Struts or Spring MVC and Hibernate

Experience with building WebServices/APIs (SOAP and REST), writing Plugins to integrate other internal/external applications

Strong Experience in Oracle ODI ETL development using datastores, topology, building objects in Designer, Monitoring Operator, setting different type of KMs, Agents, etc

Strong experience with relational database such as Oracle, MS SQL server and PL/SQL

Experience with UNIX and Windows operating systems

Ability to conduct code reviews and work with build and automation code deployment tools

Ability to research, analyze, solve problem and present results / recommendations

Good Team player, must be self-motivated, have strong analytical skills, plan and manage time effectively, and business focused

Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)

Exposure to AML Transaction Monitoring applications like Oracle OFSAA/FCCM (f.k.a. Mantas) will be preferred
