Job Description: 

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Systems Validation Engineer to contribute to a range of projects impacting internal clients across Energy and Transportation sectors. In this fast-paced role, you will have the opportunity to refine your systems engineering skills, gain exposure to customer tools and processes, and play a key part in ensuring the success of projects, particularly in terms of Time, Cost, and Quality metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and author system requirements.
  • Perform bench validation and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Work closely with team leads and software engineers to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Contribute to system testing, validation, and quality assurance efforts.
  • Ensure timely and efficient completion of validation tasks, focusing on quality and compliance.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Experience in validating Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) and their software.
  • Familiarity with software testing and development processes.
  • Knowledge of software algorithms and controls.
  • Proficient in Python scripting and test automation tools (e.g., Selenium).
  • Experience with performance testing tools such as JProfiler, Visual VM, or similar.
  • Skilled in creating high-fidelity mockups using design tools like Figma.
  • Ability to document complex control algorithms and test results clearly and effectively.
  • Strong commitment to quality and compliance standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
  • Flexibility to excel in both systems and validation engineering roles.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with diagnostic and test tools like CAT ET (Electronic Technician), Cadet, Canalyzer, CANape, CANoe, Modscan, and Modsim.
  • Knowledge of datalink protocols and analysis tools such as Customer Data Link (CDL), J1939, Modbus TCP/IP, and Wireshark.
  • Familiarity with programming languages like Java, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel and Python.
  • Experience with Linux-based operating systems (Ubuntu, Debian).
  • Proficient in Bash or Shell scripting.
  • Experience with Change Request Management (CRM), New Product Introduction (NPI), and Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) practices.
  • Familiarity with various software testing methodologies, including usability, functional, regression, and durability testing.

  • High attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
  • Alternatively, a 2-year degree with 7+ years of experience or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience will also be considered.
  • Internships will be counted as relevant work experience.
