Job Description:

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Epic Willow Inpatient Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in implementing Epic Inventory across our hospitals and clinics.

This is a 3+ month remote contract.

The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge in pharmacy systems, with certifications and some experience in Epic Willow Inpatient and Epic Willow Inpatient Inventory. This position requires a professional who can effectively collaborate with our Scripps IS team and operational partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of Epic Willow Inpatient and Willow Inpatient Inventory modules.
  • Assist in the successful execution of go-live events for Willow Inpatient and Clinic Inventory systems.
  • Help ensure the integration of Omnicell and Swisslog BoxPicker systems with Epic to enhance pharmacy operations.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for Willow Inpatient and Inventory-related issues.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize pharmacy workflows and improve patient care.

Required Qualifications:

  • Willow Inpatient Certification.
  • Willow Inpatient Inventory Certification.
  • Experience contributing to successful go-live events for Willow Inpatient Inventory.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with 340B program compliance and optimization.
  • Familiarity with Omnicell or Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets and Epic integration.
  • Understanding of Swisslog BoxPicker Epic integration.
  • Background in medication procurement.
